March is coming, but only a few surfers turn in yet. Spots
like Krui Left, Krui Right, Mandiri, and Karang Nyimbur is nearly abandoned.
You can hardly see any surfers in the water. However, Karang Nyimbur was big
this morning, but no surfers seen in the water, Dale the Kiwi surfer who I met
at Mandiri the other day that I met again at Krui Left this morning told me.
I don’t know why he didn’t surf Karang Nyimbur, but turn in at
Krui Left this morning instead. It may be too big for him. But when he arrived at
Krui Left, he didn’t surf either. He just watched three surfers in the water.
Krui Left was at its average size I guess. You can expect it
to be bigger though, but today it’s big enough—about three or four feet. The
four surfers enjoy being swayed around by the swells. They rarely seen taking
the wave. They missed most of the waves that came over one by one. When I took
the pictures, about thirty minutes, I only saw one surfer successfully take one
wave.
Dale decided not to surf Krui Left. He rode back to Mandiri
instead.
“I think Mandiri is getting bigger,” he said. He had checked
the surf in the morning on his way to Krui Left.
