Krui Airport Ready for Flight Next Month

Acces to Krui airport has been paved, ready for regular flight next month 

Krui airport will hold regular flight starting January 2012 as Susi Air, the airline that will hold regular flight from Jakarta to Krui, and vice versa, confirms that they are ready for undertaking the flights.

Beside holding passenger flights, Susi Air will also hold cargo flights, transporting farm industry products of Krui, whether domestically or internationally.

In the years to come, the local government of Lampung Barat will give financial assistance so as to make the flight affordable for ordinary people. As reported before, Susi Air charges Rp.1.100.000 for a flight from Jakarta to Krui, and vice versa, which is considered to expensive for local Krui people.

Hopefully, Krui airport, which is 50 hectares in width according to current data, will become a bridge for the region to develop its industry, whether tourism industry, farming industry, or fishing industry.
