Krui surfs
this morning are just like they were yesterday. Early in the morning, before
nine o’clock, I saw two people in the water, at Krui Left. Krui Left was working
quite well, though it wasn’t very big. But when I came back at about 9:30,
there was nobody out in the water. The two surfers must have given up.
Meanwhile,
four or five surfers were seen in the water at The Peak. The Peak wasn’t big
enough, but I guess it was just as big as yesterday. I think The Peak is the
only surf in town that works almost every day. Compared to other surfs in town,
The Peak is more consistent. Some surfers gave up a few minutes after ten o’clock,
and some others came to replace.
The surfer
that I met at The Peak told me that it was big this morning at Karang Nyimbur. He
said that it was about three times head high and no surfers in the water. “It
was at the wrong direction,” he said. “It was heading south west.”
And when
I came back to Krui Left about 10:30, I saw three surfers about to get into the
water. It was getting bigger this time, and
the sunshine got hotter. This three surfers enjoyed the surf for themselves
until I left at about 11:30.
