Krui Left
was working this morning. It was about two to four feet, and there weren’t many
surfers in the water. When I arrived at the beach at 8:50, I saw two people in
the water, an Indo surfer from Java and an Italian surfer. And about ten
minutes later, came another surfer to make three. This three surfers stayed in
the water until 11.
However,
it was less consistent. The swells came after some time, and the surfers had to
wait for one after another. When there wasn’t any swell, the sea was almost
flat. But sometimes the swells came together, two or three in a row. The small
swell was about two feet, while the biggest one was about three and a half feet
or more.
The Sundanese
surfer gave up and came out of the water at 10:30, then his Italian surfer followed
suit about ten minutes later. The other surfer stayed in the water until about
11. And when this last surfer came out of the water, the surf was abandoned. The
wasn’t anybody in the water at 11 and the surf was still working. A few white surfers
who just arrived at the beach didn’t go into the water. They left the place
after taking a look for a few minutes. One of the surfer said that the tide was
too high.
