The Peak or The 'A' Peak is another Krui surf spot in Krui town. It is located about 1 km from Krui Left. Surfers who have checked Krui Left and find the wave is too crowded with people usually go to this spot. They can either ride their bike by the beach road, or walk along the beach all the way from Krui Left. While it takes only a minute to get there by bike from, it's is quite a while to get there on foot . However, many surfers walk along the beach, from Krui Left to The Peak, or vice versa.
Though they are close to each other, The Peak and Krui Left are not at all the same. Krui Left is more like a surfing spot with its longer and peeling waves. But The Peak, on the other hand, is short and breaks at the middle, peeling right and left at the same time. Although it doesn't last very long, but it's fun. Many surfers take this wave as an alternative when Krui Left is too crowded with surfers. Besides, it can take lefthanders and righthanders at the same time.
