Whether you take a surfboard or a body board, whether you
stand up on the board or you drag your dick on it, whether you are a pro or a
kook, you are both welcomed to Krui, and you can walk together side by side in
harmony, and you can share the waves as well. No worries. There is no
difference between a surfer and a body boarder for local people, and if you
feel like having one, then it’s your own problem.
However, one thing that concern me is that the place where
you stay. I don’t care a rap where you stay, anyway, but so far as I am
concerned, there are many surfers who stay at the wrong places, (or I think
they do). I met some surfers who stay in Karang Nyimbur but they ride their
bike everyday to surf Krui Left, and so are those who stay in downtown Krui,
they often go down south to surf.
Some surfers find that Karang Nyimbur waves are just not
suitable for body boarding, that’s way they come to town. Other surfers find
that Krui left are too small and less powerful for them, and they go down
south. They have to ride for quite a while to get to the surf.
If you find that moving around is just the nature of
traveling, so you can enjoy staying in one place to another, you can move any
time you like. But if you think that you need one place to stay stick, then you
have to decide before you start your journey, unless you enjoy moving from one
place to another like a nurturing mommy cat.
