The “A” Peaks turned good today. Six or seven surfers took the short waves in turns. It was funny since they break right in the middle, rightwards and leftwards. Lefthander surfers take it to the left, while righthanders took them to the right, at the very same time. I saw this happened quite a lot.
But the flaw is that they cannot just take many surfers at the same time since they are short. Six surfers is too much for such short waves, let alone seven. I saw many of them just hang out there waiting. It took quite a while until the next waves come over.
The “A” Peaks are not very regular. They just turn on once in a while. They are off for most of the days. But when they come, they turn quite good, though they only last for four or five seconds.
But don’t you ever underestimate these. Though they are short in shape and duration, they can give you hassles.
As this guy came out of the water, he didn’t know that his surfboard has turned into two pieces. “I didn’t know what happened,” he said. “It just turned into two pieces when I got out of the water. But I have a spare one, though,” he smiled.
Two spectators were there watching. They brought no surfboards. They just checked. The guy in front took some pictures with his cool camera, but pictures above are not his.
