It was late February, the surf season wasn’t supposed to
start yet, however, surfers began to come to Krui. Early in the morning today,
at about nine o’clock, two surfers were seen taking Krui Left. The surf worked
although not very constantly. It was quite big earlier in the morning, but it
became smaller later on.
When I arrived, the surf was about three to four feet—five
feet at the bigger sense—but when I left the spot about two hours later, it
decreased in size. The two guys who I saw in the water first seemed to enjoy
the surf very much. Then came another two guys to make four. When the first two
guys came out of water at about 10 o’clock, there came another two, so the
number remained four. I don’t know what happened, the surfers might have talked
to each other as to keep no more than four surfers in the water. Maybe not, but
when I left the spot, there still remained four of them.
