Rains in Krui

Rains can be heavy in Krui. And when they come, they hamper almost everything people have to do. Students cannot go to school because of the rain. Farmers cannot work in the farm. Office workers cannot go to work. Housewives cannot shop. Street walkers cannot go out. Street vendors cannot sell the things. In short, the rain is not fun for some reasons. Not only because they don’t like to get wet, but it can also make them sick. That’s why most people prefer to stay away from the rains, if they can choose.

The rains that used to come on April to October is now kind of fickle. They can come anytime now. Not only from April to October, but they can comes in any month of the year as they like. They can come all year round with three or four weeks rest. Unlike in the past, we don’t have a long drought like more than a month today. While a dry season in the past could last up to seven months, it just take one month at longest today.

You can snuggle in a becak and you don’t have to worry about getting wet. And if you don’t have a raincoat or a becak, but you have to go out somehow, then why not go in the rains. The rains is not only a nuisance, but it can be fun also.
