Staying in Krui, you’ll have to be ready to be robbed into English conversation or just a say “Hello Mister” (doesn’t matter if you are a man or a woman or a mixed). Dari mana?: Where are you from/Where are you coming from?

Dari Negara mana?: What country are you from?

Saya dari Inggris: I am from England.

Saya mau makan; I want to eat.

Di mana ada warung makan?; Where is the restaurant?

Jalan ke pantai lewat mana?: Could you show me the way to the beach, please?

Di mana ada hotel?; Where is the hotel? (note; surfcamp is also called ‘hotel’)

Berapa?; How Much?

Berapa ongkos ke Karang Nyimbur?; How much is the fare to Karang Nyimbur?

Berapa jauh Karang Nyimbur dari sini?; How far is Karang Nyimbur from here?
