Ghost town.
There’s no other word to describe the surfs in Krui this morning. It was small
everywhere, and almost no surfers appeared in the water. When I checked Krui
Left and Krui Right at 9:30 this morning, it was small with no surfers in the
water. However, when I came to Mandiri, the swells weren’t small, but I didn’t
see anyone in the water but two surfers.
In my
way from Krui Left to Mandiri, I passed by some surfers heading up north. I didn’t
know where they were going. Judging from the way they rode their bike, they must
have been being disappointed.
These
surfers that I met at Mandiri beach told me that it was small at the reef too. And
later when I came back to Krui Left at about 10:45, it was still small and
there wasn’t any surfers at all whether in the water or at the beach.
